Erliest Magazine review - Power Play (1992)

Magazine review - Game Players (Mar, 1993)
"Visually, Comanche: Maximum Overkill is the closest thing to an official military training simulation that you can play, at least until the next generation of hardware comes along."

Trivia:
1) Computer Gaming World 's says: "a United States Army Aviation AH-64 pilot—liked Comanche Maximum Overkill in 1993, calling it an "eye-popping glimpse into 21st-century helicopter warfare". He stated that it created a "more believable terrain model than the Army's Combat Mission Simulator" and was the first game to replicate "the thrill of low-altitude flying".  The reviewer concluded that "cutting-edge graphics firepower gives it the edge to sweep more than a couple of competitors off the battlefield"
2) Events take place in 1999.

3) Support Roland MT-32 audio card (best computer audio synthesizer at the time).

4) For more voxel games watch Blade Runner and Outcast.

5) Emulated in: DOSBox
