1) Cute 'em up- feature brightly coloured graphics depicting surreal settings and enemies.Newer, particularly Japanese, cute 'em ups may employ overtly sexual characters and innuendo. Cute 'em ups tend to have unusual, oftentimes completely bizarre opponents for the player to fight, with the "Parodius" franchise being a perfect example.

2) Alfa Records released a limited-edition compilation game soundtrack album with music from this game and others (Konami Game Music Vol.1 -28XA-85) on June 25, 1986.
