Virtual Racquetball (Autodesk) 1990
First exergame with head-mounted display, first multiplayer head-mounted display (virtual reality) game
1) By attaching position and orientation sensors on a racquetball racket, Autodesk created a computerized racquetball game that allowed players to use real racquetball rackets as their input
devices. The players could play virtual racquetball from thousands of miles away using phone lines.
Virtual Racquetball tracked the position and orientation of an actual racquet that was used to hit a virtual ball in a virtual environment. This environment was shared with another user equipped with another tracked racquet, allowing the two users to play each other over phone lines. In both systems, the users could wear the VPL eyephones, an early Head-mounted display (HMD), that would provide more immersion for the user
2) Autodesk 3D studio Max tool also used in videogames development, like Trespasser: Jurassic Park
